mediation is the selection of an appropriate family law mediator. Consider our

As an acknowledgement of the power and effectiveness of mediation the Federal Magistrates
Court in Brisbane now directs parties to private medation of property settlement
applications before trial directions are made. The Federal Attorney General recently (June
2010) announced that it would become compulsory to mediate property matters before court
proceedings can be commenced, as in children's matters.
